Designed for non-law undergraduates, our GDL gives you a firm foundation of legal knowledge and an introduction to the skills you will need in any legal career.
- With a pass rate of over 90 per cent, Nottingham Law’s course has been adopted by the GDL’s governing body as the framework for other conversion courses
- Our course is taught with the same high standards in course design, facilities and professionalism which have gained Nottingham Law’s LPC the highest possible rating from the Law Society every year
- Our focus is on learning in small groups of 10-12 students – our experience shows that is where you learn best
- We see the GDL and LPC/BVC as a two-year programme, we place the academic subjects into a work related context making students more prepared for practice and making the transition to the next stage easier
- Successful completion of the GDL on the first attempt will guarantee you a place on our LPC (2.2 or higher)
- All students who successfully complete the GDL and stay at Kaplan Law School to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) will automatically be awarded an LLB
